New York Comicon is finally here!

Zoje Licensing attended Day #1 of the show to get in our comic book and geekness fix and try to avoid the massive crowds! Since Zoje Licensing already got their badges pre-ordered and in the mail prior to the show, we skipped long registration lines that were already extended outside the Javitts Center. Once inside there are many different areas to explore. Tons of licensed toys, merchandise and collectibles for every fan girl and fan boy. Attendees also dress up and embrace the culture , channeling their Heroes or sometimes Villians! This is a convention that both consumers, trade and press can attend. Walk up and down the aisles and you can see many adults dressed up as Doctor Who, Batman, Superman, Catwoman, Avenger, Sailor Moon, Ninja Turtle to little kids dressed up as Mini- Jedi's and Mini-Daleks! Aside from checking out the merchandise , you can also explore and attend different panels hosted by the creators, stars and sometimes actors. Panels are a great way for fans to connect in a more personal environment and hear first hand about news and preview screenings. We even got to meet Seth Green from Robot Chicken & Buffy!
